Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

Printer Test Page has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no newsletter. You can print every page without giving us any personal information. This policy explains the little that is collected and why.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and a few events, such as clicks on Print test page, the paper size chosen and PDF downloads. It sets first-party cookies (names starting with _ga) to tell a new visit from a returning one. We look at totals, such as how many people printed a page, not at individuals.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, those cookies stay off: Google Analytics only receives cookieless signals that do not identify you across visits. Our tag also tells Google not to use the data for advertising, everywhere.

You can block the cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out add-on. How Google handles this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your paper size choice

When you pick Letter or A4, your browser saves that choice in its local storage so the next page opens in the same size. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it. To choose the size the first time, the site reads the language and region settings of your browser (for example, en-US), also on your device only.

Contact form

When you send a message through the Contact Us form, Netlify Forms stores what you entered: your email, your name if you gave one, the topic and the message. Netlify checks submissions for spam with Akismet. We use your email only to reply and delete messages once they no longer need an answer.

Hosting and email

The site is hosted on Netlify, which processes standard request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and keep the service secure. If you email us, the message is forwarded to our inbox by Cloudflare Email Routing and kept only as long as needed to reply.

Advertising

The site shows no ads today. If ads are added, Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads, and visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent first. This policy will be updated before that happens.

Affiliate links

Some troubleshooting answers may later link to products on Amazon, such as ink or cleaning kits. As an Amazon Associate, the site would earn from qualifying purchases. Those links will be marked, and Amazon handles any data from your visit to its site under its own privacy notice.

Children

The site is meant for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from children.
